Universal Language Translator

Large tech companies such as Meta, Google, and Microsoft have language translation services and are pursuing the ultimate goal of a universal language translation service that would allow for seamless language translation in all spoken human languages. Being able to communicate with any person in the world without a language barrier will be incredibly impactful to the positive growth of our global society. In general, this will accelerate globalization, furthering the exchange of ideas, beliefs, and culture, as well as economic growth. This will help to better understand the people of our world, create new friendships and relationships, create new business development opportunities, assist with political and diplomatic relations, and in general help connect people and societies. There is no doubt that large tech companies among others will develop a universal language translator with the help of artificial intelligence. This tool is too important to rely on any single company to provide. I think this needs to be an open-source collaborative effort to make it available to all people at no cost to the user.
