Project Ludus

Ludus is a virtual planet in the fictional metaverse called “The Oasis” from the real-life book Ready Player One. Ludus contained all the compulsory education schools in the metaverse. So naturally, when thinking about the concept of free VR education, this came to mind. The value of VR education is highly significant and only understood at best by those using VR regularly at present time. People learn differently and VR is not for everyone, such as those who get intense motion sickness or have a visual impairment. Having free access to a virtual reality platform dedicated to learning about the world as we know it, our history, and the collective sciences, feels like an essential service that needs to be a reality for human beings and society to achieve our greatest potential. Project Ludus would be directly integrated into Utopian Schools and the Utopian Metaverse, but it would also be its own standalone application. This application will have integration of Wikipedia and be designed in a way that captivates and entertains the user, making learning fun.
