Accessible Travel

The USF believes that travel should be a basic human right and not a privilege. Travel aids in personal growth and development, providing new perspectives and ideas, often creating a greater connection and appreciation for humanity. The USF wants to explore ideas to help make travel more affordable and to help sponsor those who have not had an opportunity to travel out of their state or country. Within some USF Community Centers, there may be sleep pods similar to what is seen in Japan for members to drastically reduce costs associated with booking a hotel. Ideally, the USF will have properties across the globe that allow families and other individuals who cannot access a sleeping pod, or don’t feel comfortable with that option, to have a safe and open space to explore their destination in a way that serves their needs.
