Logic Standard

Logic Standard is the idea of artificial intelligence software that people can trust to eliminate the miscommunications we experience at present, specifically designed with politics in mind. This A.I. will perform real-time analysis of what is said by any person (specifically those in the media) for logical fallacies and provide a general rating of a person’s credibility based on the percentage of fallacies they make when they speak. This concept was originally inspired by the regular “Bushisms” or in other words foolish statements made by former United States president George W. Bush. The idea is that if people could see in real-time what fallacies were being made, coupled with the collective tally of foolish statements and lies that were made, it would help to better prevent people like George from entering the office or any level of leadership in government. However, if they can snake their way into government, they would be closely monitored and would hopefully have less influence on the people.

The Logic Standard concept became much more relevant with the former Trump presidency, not just with the shockingly foolish things that were said, but the constant lying that for some reason seemed to go over the heads of far too many Americans. The Washington Post Fact Checker team found that Trump made 30,573 false or misleading claims over four years. The sheer stupidity of this person becoming the President of the United States is mind-boggling and reveals a broken system. Practical and common-sense steps need to be taken to prevent unqualified people from being in leadership, the solution being the need for a merit-based leadership system. In addition to the Logic Standard, a much more practical system to implement is simply requiring a basic test of knowledge that those seeking a leadership position in any of the three branches of the United States government, must take and pass to even be considered as a nominee.
